{Beauty} Recommendations....Needed

Happy HAPPY Wednesday!

It is OFFICIALLY winter in Tejas with snow and sleet yesterday, I am predicting
summer to be only a few 2 weeks away. (that is EXACTLY how Texas weather works..very frustrating trying to plan outfits!)

So since we (and by we I mean I somehow got myself into this mess) decided that we would start off 2013 with a no purchase/no go out January, I am looking for new ways
to stay beautiful and glowing at home.

What are your at home beauty must haves/secrets??
I know they are secrets but just share them with me and I promise not to tell anyone!

Here are some of my must haves:

These are the only two products I have used from this line, however they are both AMAZING and I am sure all of their other hair products are just as good! I wrote here why I loved the Macadamia line so much and it makes my hair feel like I just had a great salon wash!

This is definitely an oldie but a goodie, but I love Bath & Body Works lotion. I love all of their smells and the way it makes my skin feel after applying.

I really like St. Ives Apricot Scrub because it helps my skin feel smooth and get any dead skin that my loofah misses. I actually need some more of this pronto to get rid of the last remnants of my spray tan....

So here are my 3 favorite at home beauty items....spill the beans, what are yours?

PS. This whole no shopping thing has been very very very difficult - I follow way to many boutiques on Facebook like this one, this one and this one. And I may have bought a really cute scarf from one of Z's co-worker's wife who has a super cute kids boutique here....but thats it!

Do You {Ombre}?

I hope too...seriously I have been trying to get the ombre for well over 2 months now.

A little redic I know...but I love it!

I want my hair to look like this...

....and not just because she is a Kardashian

So..tonight I am supposedly going to the Ombre "guru" to get it done!

Z will be so excited because I have been complaining about wanting my hair like this for so long!

I went to my current hair stylist to have it done and when I told her I wanted the Ombre, she looked like a dear and head lights. Needless to say I have a wanna be ombre.

Cross your fingers for me!

Product Review - All About My {Hurr}

Girls I do not know about you, but I put my poor hair through a lot....from washing and drying it pretty much ever day, as well as curling, ratting and hair spray...I am surprised I have the hair that I do!

I had been looking for something that would give my hair some nutrients and condition it at the same time, when I came across a blog post from Style Me Swanky.

She posted a whole blog about becoming more beautiful over night...read it here.

That is when I found this miracle worker!!

This deep repair is like putting lotion on your hair. I was a little freaked out the first time I put it on my hair just because of the way it feels, however it works really well.

I put it on my hair every Sunday before bed. I normally just wet my hair, brush it, apply the Macadamia Natural Oil Deep Repair Masque, comb it through my hair and then wrap my hair in a bun on top of my head.

In the morning I wake up and wash my hair like normal.

This has really helped my hair tremendously....it says you can use it two times a week, my hair is not that dry so I just apply on Sundays.

For a pretty big size tub is only $30 at Ulta, and I just saw this yesterday at Target for $29.99.

I have used this now for a little over a month and have not made a dent in it. I know $30 is a lot to spend on something you only use once a week, however it will last you a while.

Do you girls have anything that is a miracle worker for your hair?? Do share!

Short or {Long}

I am so not trying to be one of those girls that chops all of my hair off right after the wedding, but ladies something has got to be done!

I dont know if I am just getting to use to my hair, need new hair product, or am just needing a change!!
But I am not very happy with my hair right now!!

Here are my options:

I really like the long swing bobs right now....but

I love love love the long layer messy curles look too....I may just need to wake up earlier and get a better curling iron!

What do you guys think?
